Acceptable Use Policy

Rules and restrictions for the lawful and responsible use of Aquil Safety services and APIs.

Purpose

This policy defines acceptable use of Aquil Safety systems, dashboards, alerts, and APIs by clients, contractors, and integration partners.

Allowed use

  • Safety operations and approved incident workflows
  • Integrations explicitly authorized by contract scope
  • Internal analytics tied to safety, compliance, and response quality

Prohibited use

  • Any unlawful surveillance or discriminatory enforcement activity
  • Attempts to bypass security controls or access unauthorized data
  • Resale, sublicensing, or unauthorized redistribution of service outputs
  • Use of alerts or models as sole evidence for disciplinary or legal action without human review

Data handling expectations

  • Access should be limited to authorized personnel
  • Credentials must be protected and rotated per internal policy
  • Data exports should be stored and transferred using approved secure channels

API usage requirements

  • Use only issued credentials and approved environments
  • Respect rate limits and integration guardrails
  • Do not reverse engineer, stress test, or probe systems outside approved testing windows

Violations may result in access suspension, contract remedies, or termination, subject to the executed agreement.

Reporting concerns

Report suspected misuse or security concerns through your contractual support and security contacts immediately.
